Features Set:  

US Search allows you to view the results of your search before purchasing the complete information. This is a great benefit for people searches. However, we were frustrated by the fact that we were required to have a name and an age to conduct a search. Sometimes you may not have the age of a person you are seeking, making the search involve more guesswork.

Another problem with US Search is the exorbitant price of their 30-day pass. The prices for their single search and 24-hour pass are comparable to other services, but the price for their 30-day pass is almost four times higher than any other people search service we reviewed.

Possible Report Information:  

As we mentioned above, the US Search reports are a little more sparse than other services. Although they weren’t the leanest we reviewed, they are not as comprehensive and a little less useful than the reports from our top-ranked people search services. The US Search report will give you the name, age, address and phone number of your search subject, but other important information, like possible aliases or possible relatives, is missing.

Search By Criteria:  

The US Search interface requires you to have a name and an approximate age to conduct a search. However, you can also add in other criteria, like city, state and social security number. US Search is also one of only two services that has a specific search based on maiden names.

Help/Support:  

US Search has a useful FAQ for answering common questions. For bigger problems, US Search also has email and phone support services. As an added bonus, the phone number is prominently displayed on the home page instead of buried in the FAQ.

US Search doesn’t get everything right and the reports could be more comprehensive, but it’s still a good service and is a useful tool for people searches.
