KnowX is actually a good people search service that suffers from one major flaw: an extremely limited report. KnowX actually had the most meager report of any service we reviewed. The report will include name, current address and current phone number but not much else. This information is good, but the additional information on reports from other services is so essential for identifying the right person that we couldn’t overlook the bare reports from KnowX.

The search system in KnowX is only average, with available searches by city, state or zip code. But that’s the kind of information a person doing a people search probably doesn’t have. We wished that KnowX might have included more useful search criteria, like an approximate age range.

In all other respects, KnowX is on par with other people search services. In fact, buying reports from KnowX is fairly easy because they have a great choice of options. If you are sure you have found the right person, you can buy a single record for a much cheaper price than reports from other services. If you aren’t sure, you still have the standard option of buying the full list of contacts that matched your search or buying a 24-hour pass so you can search to your heart’s content.
