Like our #1 service, PeopleFinders , Intelius allows you to see a preview of search results before you buy. This means you can view a list of results, prior to purchase, that tells you what information is available for each entry.

 Another important feature is the ability to search for people by name without having to provide other information. This is a real benefit because often you only have a name to search by. We were disappointed to find that Intelius has no 30-day pass like many other sites. However, they do have a 24-hour pass and a very competitive price for their single searches.

Possible Report Information:  

Intelius is no slouch in this category. An Intelius people search can yield information on name, current and former addresses, phone number, age, date of birth and possible relatives. We were disappointed that Intelius doesn’t include a list of possible aliases or associated names since that can be quite useful for finding people that go by nicknames or a middle name.

One interesting thing about Intelius reports is the ability to get information on a subject’s income and home value. No other people search service gave this information and we were quite surprised because that type of information is usually reserved for background checks. While it is an added bonus in the report, we did not consider it during the ranking of people search services because it is not the kind of information that would really be useful in finding someone.

Search By Criteria:  

Intelius is very versatile for conducting people searches. You have the ability to search by name, age and state information like most search services, but you can also do reverse address searches and reverse phone searches if you don’t know a name. Intelius also has the capability to search by social security number and email address.

Help/Support:  

In the event that you have questions or problems with your people search, Intelius has several different options for you. The FAQ is very useful, especially for standard questions, but if you need more assistance, there is both email and phone support available. Intelius does deserve some praise for posting their phone support number right on the front page instead of burying it in sub pages like other services do.

Intelius is a very useful people search service that only missed being number one by a very small margin, mostly because of a lack of a 30-day pass. It’s still a good choice for any people search needs.
